Same thing happened to me! I was 118 lbs and a size 4, then I gained some pounds but I now wear a size 2. Don't worry, you just gained muscle.

Muscle is a lot denser than fat. This means that pound for pund, muscle takes 1/3d less space as fat does. So, if you lose fat, and gain muscle, you might gain weight, but still slim down because the muscle mass you've gained takes a lot less room than the fat you've lost.
Congratulations!

This means that you lost some body fat and gained some lean muscle mass. The reason you weigh more is that muscle weighs more than fat. Now, give yourself a pat of the back.

I am a swimmer and this also happened to me, so what probably happened was that you had some fat on your stomach that you lost and then you gained muscle in your arms and leggs. In swimming you work all areas of the body and gain muscle mass quickly.

It means you've toned up and lost some fat, but gained some muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat, so building it up will cause you to gain weight. Losing the fat, though, toned you so your clothes fit differently.

Your fat was replaced with muscle and that's what explains how you gained 3 pounds because muscle weighs more than fat.

You have probably lost "fat" making you look slimmer, but, gained muscle mass causing you to add a few pounds to your body weight.

You have built muscle.. Muscle weighs more then fat. It also speeds up your metabolism so you burn more fat and calories doing nothing at all. GREAT JOB.

It means 2 things....
1) You've gained muscle
2) You're too young to be so obsessed with your weight, like 3 lbs!. Not going to get you far anyway, as you're still growing.
