Well, I know that in the US, you are an adult in the state's eyes when you are 18. But I've heard, in Canada, it's the age 20. Go figure.

To vote in Canada is 18, but to be an adult is when you dont feel you need to ask anymore.

Someone said men are children along the whole life. But , we can be adults at 15 , when we the girls are having the period - this means God can send us babies , and God being the only wise Man , cannot send a baby to a child...Or we can be adults when we are having the reason of God. Or never.Actually according to law , in my country we are adults at 18 y.o.Everybody expects that at this age we must have a little mind in our heads.
David was a king at 17 years, one of the greatest kings, but he was listening to God.Someone that listens to God can vote at 18 y.o , in my country , the age when you can give a legal vote. The others should better shut up.

At 18 you are considered of age to vote and drink but at 16 you can be given life imprisonment for a crime. Thus legally age of majority is split between those things considered legal and others considered illegal. I hope this answer is what you are looking for. Please note that the current government is floating the idea of changing the voting and drinking age to 19. This begs the question, will then, will the age of responisibility for crime commission be raised as well? It is an interesting question you pose as it has many levels of response.

Legally, age 18, but in reality, from a maturity standpoint...any age, but unlikely by 18. More like 25.

I used to live in Buffalo when i was 19, and would cross the border to get a drink and go to the casino, because in Canada everything requires you to be 19+!
