Not applicable. They can ask if they want. I won't bend over backwards for those who would discriminate to get a job. I don't see why my religious stance is relevant, though. What job am I applying for??

on almost all standardized applications, there is no section asking for your religion or spiritual beliefs. furthermore, many applications discourage applicants from divulging any information which may give hints into their spirituality.

If, by some strange chance, you come across an application with a religion section, feel free to simply ignore it. Either that, or check "other" and write in "Scientology". They'll surely hire you.

Where are you? In most civilized societies it is now illegal to ask a person's religion on a job application! What possible business is that of a potential employer unless they are a religious organization?

I think you should sue!

Here in the United States, an employer cannot legally ask about your religion. However, if such an application actually existed, I'd tell the truth: I am a Roman Catholic.

Haven't applied for a job that asked that question ever that I can recall...though I haven't applied for a job in almost 20 years.
In Canada at least, it is illegal to ask race, religion, political party etc on job applications.

If it came up, i would put N/A or NOYB.

I am a Christian. That question on a job application is or should be illegal. A person could be discriminated for being a Christian or vice versa. Either way, I would leave it blank.

that question is against the law in every state. Anybody who gave a religion for an answer is an idiot. Bet they don't know what an application is!
