Wine should be 45 degrees when served how you get ti to that temp. is your problem

When I buy the cheap stuff in a box I refrigerate both white and red.

No red wine should be left at room temperature. The box has a foil inside which will keep it fine for ages....

You do if you like your red cold. (personally, I don't) Or if it's a "chillable red," which can be interesting.
