this is possible but you did not say he abused you .
for this to work it really requires at least one victim to complain to the police.
if you were not a victim and did not see this abuse yourself then without the victims support you cant really do anything .
i would keep this in mind . god has said that revenge is his.
so i would if i could safely leave this matter alone i would do that.

I am not sure if you can, but I think if you have a few witnesses that can testify against his abusive behavior, there could be a case.

What shocks me is, why your mother or grandmother didn't do anything about it to save your siblings. Parents are suppose to protect their children from harm.

You may want to call social services and ask the same question you have asked here. I think all of you need counseling.

Good luck.

probably depends on how long ago it was. i came from the same situation only worse. my sister stood up to him when she was ready to leave home and he beat her with a set of jumper cables (you know, for your car) she was bruised up all over, her back, her breasts, her legs. it was awful and the thing was, she had 3 teenage brothers who stood there and watched. mom never did anything to stop him either even though he beat her, shot at her, threatened to take the kids and leave. it was pure hell.
do what you have to do. i was out of the house and never saw a lot of this, but i remember when i was home, it won't get better until he dies or is in jail.

yes. you can but you have to have the people that he did abuse willing to talk and you will need the photographs of the bruises.after you have that you will need to go to your nearest police station and make a report when the report is filed they will ask you questions and anyone that was abused by him in any way..after that is done he will go in for questioning if they have enough evidence they will lock him up and he will go to court..i know this because i was sexually abused by my grandmothers husband for 7years straight and just told the police about it in may and now he is in prison for 45 years.

The statute of limitations vary by state, you need to contact the local prosecutor or police and discuss the details with them. Will the other family members support your accusations? If not, the case will most likely go nowhere.

No. A year ago is a long time. Next time he beats anyone in your family call the police immediately. I think he has a problem.

im not really sure you could. if this has caused some problems for your family now then you could and SHOULD make a move on it. ( your brother dealing with mental issues or even physical issues, the like )

good luck and happy new years!

I'm not sure about that. Maybe you should consider e-mailing your nearest police department. Tell them about his situation. See what the police have to say about it. If the police are concerned about it, they will probably at least fine him.
