There will always be a place in your heart that you keep people that you have loved . We learn from our past relationships / mistakes .This makes us stronger emotional . We find what we want out of a realationship and what we don't want .
I think you need to stand up for yourself. Make a decision to move on . For it looks like he is playing you like a yo yo . I have found the old saying true it takes time. Yet if you keep letting him play you it will only prolong the pain.

It happens that way commonly. very few (the fortunate ones) fall in love and stay luckily ever after. For something people, it might desire to take a time or 2 or 3 or with the purpose to locate the affection that lasts perpetually. You look deeper and deeper for signs and warning signs that your prospect isn't enjoying video games. shop sturdy relationships with your loved ones and actual acquaintances. they're those you will turn to for help whilst the affection of your existence evaporates. shop your head up. that is occurred to very almost all and sundry, or will in some unspecified time interior the destiny. You are right you aren't a puppet. You deserve to be treated better than this. Move on, its hard but take it day by day and it will get easier. There are more fish in the sea that would treat you right. In time your heart will heal.

If your heart is broken let him go. He may swing back, and your love accepts him, only to have your heart broken again. Best to move on to something more stable. I think you are trying to hard to make a go of something that is over and done. MOVE ON

I was with a girl for 4 years and broke up pretty recently. But life goes on. I was crushed about it but now have found someone even better who cares for me more than I could ever imagine. Sometimes the person who you thought was the "one" really isnt.
Be patient.

He'll always have a place in your heart, and you'll have to learn to live with it, but you'll eventually meet someone else who will take over the majority of your heart, and that will help you put your love for the first guy in it's proper place.

He sounds like a waste of time to be honest with you. You probably deserve better and dont settle for anything less than the best.

Hi
From my experience the best way to handle that is to move on. If you keep hanging around it will just make you go crazy.
Its going to be hard. If he does not contact you let it go, it means you deserve better.

I think that you should cut off all communication with him. Let him know that you are going to do this because you're hurting. Tell him that you aren't going to wait for him but that you still care for him. Don't let him treat you like a doormat. Good luck!

That's not love. He is playing with your emotions. Get counseling if you are not strong enough to end it. Don't let him make the decision. It is up to you.
