It's not the program that gives you viruses. It's the people who you download files from. They are strangers and you have no knowledge if they have added a virus/trojan along with the file.

Limewire does give viruses - good luck.

Any P2P software can give viruses, it's inevitable.

You have to make sure your computer is protected with anti-virus and firewall software

It hacks in your computer.it did it to mine so i had to buy a new hard drive.oh,and any protection programs,wont protect it from hacking in.

well, you just have to be careful, not normally, a standard firewall should keep you safe.
