I would prefer to know up front.

It's more important to some people than to others, but if you know she's highly religious, you should tell her right away.

My husband has always known where I stand religiously. But, my question for you is, what does it matter? My husband is christian, I am Agnostic, and we get along fine. Not once have we had an argument concerning religion. The key is to respect each others beliefs. You ask this question as if Atheism is a disease that must be treated, and could be contagious. It is no more a disease than Christianity, or any other belief system.

I think it would probably be helpful to know before the wedding... you know, life for planning what kind of ceremony it would be.

I wouldn't force it into conversation because that could bring up issues in and of itself. I'd imagine that it would come out soon enough though.

She would know before the first. I only date atheists, agnostics, buddhists and daoists.

Why waste time dating somebody that you'll never marry?

I would know before you even make a date what both of your religions are, just to be on the safe side.

How about when religion comes up in the conversation? It doesn't have to be a set date.
