Are you sure they 'leak'? He may just need to have them expressed more often. A vet or groomer can do that for you, or teach you to do it yourself. Also, some dogs will expel their glands out of fear, is there something going on in or around your house that startles him?

Sounds like an impacted anal gland. You already know what the problem is so I think you're smart enough to know what comes next! Oh yes, the fun part! Expressing the anal gland! What you need to do is squeeze the gland between your fingers from the outside and bleed out the most vile stuff you can imagine! If you can't do it (I don't blame you!), your vet can... Hey you'd do it if the dog was your kid!!

I know there is surgery to actually remove the anal glands if they become problematic all the time. Not sure you want to go that route, but I've never heard of overactive anal glands in a dog. Maybe if you take the pup into the vet, they can show you how to express them. Just have a paper towel handy. One day one of the vets I worked for got sprayed straight in the face with that stuff! Thank goodness for eyeglasses! I almost lost my lunch!!

No foods are going to help that. The anal glands usually express themselves when a dog as a bowel movement. Maybe you should think about going to a vet and having him express your dog's anal glands. Best of luck to you.

you must "milk" the gland. squeeze it gently and release the toxins which have a terrible odor but it will help and it keeps the dog healthy

If you express them at each bathing and they still reek, see your vet. If you don't express them, start next bath and repeat at every bath. Should take care of the problem.
