I didn't necessarily change religions so much as a dropped a religion and became an atheist (atheism isn't a religion).
I was Catholic for the better part of 2 decades. Now I am without belief in the existence of deities.

Yes, I was in a Christian church and very recently begun to follow another religion entirely, Ecism.
It is a mixture of different religions and thoughts. It believes in a spiritual God, but teaches that we all have individual interpretations. It has a set of tenents, beliefs and practises which include chanting and mediation.
I had a lot of questions about the Bible itself, how it was made, its construction, why God allows some of the awful things to happen
and so on. I was criticised for having doubts and asking too many questions.
I was unhappy for some time but finally left when I wanted to pursue a relationship. My bf and I were ostracised because we did not get approval for our relationship (yep, the elders had to agree to who dated who and I was seen as too old for my bf) We weren't even having a physical relationship at the time.
I did feel happier in my new religion because it teaches you to respect all others, but my boyfriend, who was a christian, is not happy to follow certain rules regarding celibacy.
hope this helps

I was a Christian and then an athiest b/c God just wasn't coming through after all those times I'd tried to reach him- So I ignored him but felt as if something was missing. Then as I layed in bed one night I knew I wasn't alone and I knew God was with me. He told me he loved me and I realized that he had been what I was missing. Due to God having taken mercy on me I'm safe now and I have a relationship with him that will never change. (Unless he becomes even a better freind to me than he is now- which is practically impossible!)

I was a christian for 20 years, went to Messianic Judaism, Judaism and then settled on a Pagan path.
I'm old enough, and have had enough education, experience and wisdom to realize that I won't be changing again. It is a path of peace for me.
Many blessings to you on your spiritual walk,
Kallan

Until I was 21 years old I was a Lutheran which did ABSOLUTELY nothing for me spiritually. Now I am a born again anabaptist. I love my Lord Jesus Christ and I've never walked as closely with him as I do now. Anabaptists were martyred in the earlier days and the stood true to Jesus Christ and that's how I want to be.

I spent the first 20 years of my life trying to be Christian, but it was never right for me. Then I spent about 15 years studying different Pagan religions, now I am a Gnostic.

Plenty of them. In fact I think it has become one of the leading American passtimes - going Religion Shopping LOLOL. Hang out with one group till you run into a "rule" you don't think you want to live by. No problem, go sign up with another one
