How do you determine what is corrupt and what is not and if you can not how is your prophet anounced by God? So far I have had Muslims say the Bible is corrupt...The Torah is corrupt...the book of Moses is corrupt only the Qu'ran is holy...does a prophet announce himself? If not by what document does God anounce his prophet? How can we say this is corrupt but this is not? If Muhammed can not be anounced by the true word of God is he not a false prophet?

Oh yeah and another Muslim says he was anounced before scripture became corrupt...which is to say he is anounced by a non existant scripture. Can someone show some non-corupt scripture that anounces your prophet or is he only anounced of himself.

Affan where is Muahmmed foretold? Is it fine with you that a prophet of God is not foretold by God and is called a prophet without being anounced by God?

ET: A prophet of God can not pronounce himself a prophet and if the scripture is corrupt it can't very well fortell of a prophet and if the only scripture you agree woith must agree with your scripture which is brought to you by a prophet and that is your evidence that he is a prophet you have a problem he can not simply pronounce himself a prophet.

Scripture that is corrupt can not be used to prove anything can it? How can God reveal his truth through something that is corrupt?

They don't even know who wrote the Quran. It certainly wasn't Muhammed. He could neither read or write.

There is no corruption. All these books make fine reading. Like any fiction. You can pretend that these things are real to you, as do millions and millions of others... and that is just a sad commentary on the most intelligent species of the planet... that many can still act and behave like ignorant cavemen and cavewomen.
People, it is time to grow up. There is a world and a universe waiting for you, you only have to look.

we do believe most of what is in the Bible except when it conflicts with the teachings of the Quran. The Quran has not been altered because it was not only written down but memorized completely by generations of muslims and it still is. I didn't know about the verse in the bible announcing Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) until recently. many others dont still. its not as if i was convinced of islam because of that verse but it does confirm by beliefs even more. the biggest thing muslims and christians argue over is the belief of trinity.

Muslims have gone through Bible and Torah and for us it is easy to say it is corrupt because of the number of errors. We believe Quran to be God's word because there is nothing like it.
