Or is it just gonna take time to help her heal??

She was raped by two close friends 6 months ago. We recently had sex(her idea) and since she has been really worked up. At night she will wake up crying. I want to help and went through this with her the first time it happened. Will she eventually get close to normal again?? I go with her to her consuling, but wonder what else I can do. I am willing to do anything to help her.
Please give some advice.
She was doing much better but now is back to square one. I won't leave her.
She told me everyting that happened. How else can I help??
When she cries I just hold her and listen. I just want to know how else I can help.

I shower her with gifts. She has so many tiffany's bracelets. I bring her flowers everyother day. And I listen to her whenever she speaks, or cries.

i think that you are already doing everything you can......keep assuring her that you love her and you're not going to leave her in the dust....i give you the good boyfriend award though because you are dealing with this tough situation very well...try to take her out to have fun too...but otherwise i think you're doing a great job.....i wish both of you the best of luck

Both, you can help her heal faster though. Sometimes when she is crying ask her if theres anything she wants to let off her chest. And listen, closely. That's probley not the only thing bugging her either, just something that made the tower of pain fall down. Bring her flowers and let her know you care. Also, give it time. She'll really apreciate it. God (or whatever over powerful being you fallow) bless you for being such a kind person to her. More guys should be like you!You are doing alot for her, but I have one more thing. If you are christian (just putting it out there) pray for her. Et other christains to pray for her. I believe only god can heal emmotional and mental wounds. If she is christain pray WITH her too. Set up prayer groups. It's really powerful.

Well i won't claim to be an expert in this kinda situation since its never happened to me but i would say just keep doing what your doing. This won't have some magic answer that will make her all better shes just gonna need time to heal. All you can do is be there for her.
