Can this damage your eyes and/or your lenses at all? Is not having them on a better idea?

It wont damage your eyes or lenses. The only thing that may happen is that one or both of them could fall out. Keep your eyes closed when the water is on your face.

Yes dont put your contact on while having a shower theres a molicule in water that can eat at a certain part of your eye only if it gets stuck between the contact lens and the eye and for the people who dont believe me why do you think you are not allowed to store your contacts in water over night.

no damage to neither your eyes nor your lenses. but water may flash your lenses out. so do remember to close your eyes before water reach your eyes.
