How does "cute" come into it?? If you want to wear boxers, do it. When you say "cute" I think you mean does the onlookers approve, i.e. am I thin enough? Do I have fat buttocks or fat thighs?
If you are in doubt, don't wear boxers. Wait till you get older and more mature. If you want to wear them, do it!
