Why is it that couples often become non-existant when they break up? Where does the love they use to share go? How is it possible to suddenly stop loving somebody? Where does the love go? Dont tell me to the next girl/guy because it will be a different kind of love.

Momo I think when a relationship ends alot of the time its not in the best spirit ,and as often as people say it was an amicable split up it usually leaves one partner feeling hurt and rejected . its not that the love has left ,its just that after a time it becomes old and fades and the person is not replaced as such they just are stored away in your memory and newer memories are layered over them .In the future you will see ,smell or hear some thing and that memory will release just a little chip of your forgotten love and it will put a smile on your face as you recall a fantastic time in a long lost romance . hope it makes sense

If you truely love someone it doesn't go easily. Over a matter of time something makes you unsure of the relationship and you become unsatisfied. Therefore, we tend to move on to other relationships before we figured out what happened in the last relationship. Was him or me? What caused us to seperate? Love has a hundred different levels; it's up to us to decide whether it's worth the fight or not? Anything worth having is worth the fight. Love doesn't always come easy.

I believe there is energy between two individuals that love each other that mutually sustains the love. I don't be lieve we suddently stop loving somebody, I think that something may happen and we choose not to share that energetic bond any longer because we use that energy to protect ourself.
A complex question and perhaps not the most articulate answer.

The love just slowly moves in back of your mind in a safe that is locked in your mind & heart for a life time....
It always sticks with you...even with a new love...
You always will have that locked up safe inside of you....
Love last forever...some us just forget about it...& move on...when others still have that safe that they know will never be opened again....

My girlfriend left me for no good reason, 1 day just dropped me, I was faithful, honest, caring, I was going to take her to an expensive restruant. she was using me to get to my best friend in our 3rd month she loved me for 2/6 months which hurt me bad.
