pretty simple look around thousands of people are going to miss the boat because of the really poor witness going on today. We have a poor witness because of teachers who cause such things as denominations. Jesus said we wopuld be known because of the love we have for each other and instead we are known by out terrible witness
Ex ample. we have gossips running on about all types of negative BS and then telling people they are Christians and going to church every time the doors are open. These hurt people, they are not going to be able to inherit the Kingdom and they do not even know it. They think I am saved and I will always be saved. They can think this because there is no accountability in the church. If there were accountability somebody the gossip hurt would have confront that [erson in private and the next time it would have been with the preacher and another and if it continued they would get kicked out. It does not happen because teachers do not teach it and they do not teach accountability because if they did people would find out the pteacher also is accountable. Another thing not taught is how to choose a teacher.
False prophets is not such a big thing today because the gift of prophesy available today is at this time not of the variety which gives the group direction in such things as war. Today they just point to errors in direction and some can see into peoples hearts and give that one guidance. Prophets have always been hated and I see nowhere that they did damage but am certain they could were they held in high esteam. Possibly Jim Jones was a false prophet but since he was well liked among his congregation I doubt he could possibly have been a prophet of any kind. Still a false one as he could do damage as he did. A person would have to be pretty far out there to listen much to him it seems to me. There are true prophets today and people do not like what they say. When that one leaves and goes somewhere then people realize who he was.

A false prophet or teacher is someone who says they know God but does not and who teaches lies which are cloaked in truth much the same way that a person might poison an otherwise delicious meal. The lies are usually very powerful and believable being that there is enough truth to make it compelling but in the end, the lie is intended to mislead, confuse, frustrate and condemn people. Jesus was the Son of God who preached love, peace and forgiveness. A true follower of Christ would do the same, both teach and live in love, peace and forgiveness by faith. A false prophet will teach it but not live it or live it to a point in order to deceive. The difference in essence is in the "prophet's" motive.

Because the people had one vision and anything else was bo**ocks.
Look up the Council of Nicea, that should explain a few things!
Only a few peoples accounts were let into the bible, it's amazing how all the other ideas put forward were found heretic. A joke that people still live by the same teachings and find them the way of christianity - people have a go at muslims these days but christians were a bunch of asses back then involved in war, wealth and spreading the faith forcibly to other countries to make more from it.
The Vatican is a joke too! If the catholic church sold half the stuff lining the walls there then they could fight poverty in neglected third world countries.

More false prophets and Messiahs have arisen around an imitation either of the Jewish Messiah or Jesus Christ and have caused their followers untold suffering. Don't be surprised at the list below:
(1) Marxism, Communism, originator - Karl Marx, Frederick Engels - at one time claimed affiliation from 60% of the world's population. What was it based on "spiritually"?
THE CONCEPT OF SOCIETY AS MESSIAH, OR THAT THE PEOPLE WERE COLLECTIVELY THEIR OWN MESSIAH.
Fruits - more than 40 million killed under Stalin, Lenin, Mao, Pol Pot and other communist regimes, more than any other religion in history
(2) Islam - based again on a false version of Jesus and Mohammad linking himself to Jesus, and at the same time glorifying hatred and martyrdom against non-Muslims
to get to Islamic sensual paradise. Has been using the sword whenever possible for the last 1400 years
Fruits: THE WORST IS YET TO COME - based on Hadiths, till the "Muslims fight the Jews" helping fulfil the prophecies of Ezekiel and Zechariah in full.
(3) Sundry other cult prophets, all pretending to be Christ or Messiah in the flesh wit their false versions of Christianity - David Koresh, Jim Jones, Aum shin ri kyo leader Asahara Shoko, the list never ends.
Fruits: ALL ENDING IN THEIR FOLLOWERS SELF-DESTRUCTING IN VIOLENCE OR MAIMING THEMSELVES
(4) New Age attempt to explain Jesus as an "ascended master" and further muddy the waters by claiming as the Muslims and Gnostics do, that Christians and Christian apostles know nothing about Christ and that they know "better", that Jesus "got" his wisdom from India and/or Japan. It is interesting that Muslims, Gnostics and New Agers cannot even agree among themselves on how the Christians are wrong about Christ.
THE NAZIS AND THEIR OCCULT / SATANIC LINKAGE LEADING TO THEIR ATTEMPT TO LIQUIDATE ALL JEWS IN ORDER TO FORESTALL THE SECOND COMING WERE THE FIRST MODERN DAY RESULT OF THIS NEW SCOURGE AND THE WORST IS YET TO COME.
5) Escapist doctrine of the Rapture among some evangelicals by means of which some will "escape" tribulation based on a false reading of Scripture.
Fruits: An increase in support for evil policies aimed against non-Jews supported by "Zionist" Christians who hoped to be raptured soon by "accelerating" the coming of Jesus Christ and their foolhardy attempts to date his coming (Tim La Haye and other false prophets).
All these are the enemies of the cross of Christ. All claim secret knowledge and all claim that the "other" must die in order to "bring peace." All do exactly what Satan wants them to do, in order to damn themselves for all eternity.

it is not basically prophetic coaching yet is basically as sturdy immediately because it became lower back while it became written. "pay attention " "Be on your look after" , a severe education to observe out for something. asserting something undesirable yet seems sturdy, 'come to you in 'sheep's clothing'. The sheep, the main harmless of the animals, as a results of fact of this Jesus became categorized the Lamb of God. a individual coming to you interior the pseud of the sturdy and clever, wearing sheep's clothing, yet they're 'inwardly starving wolves', undesirable, not sturdy. the choice of the sheep is the wolf, the sheep is righteous and the wolf is unrighteous. this may well be a individual or a team or business enterprise that acts as sturdy yet is somewhat evil. You arm your self from those via the right nutrition, God's be conscious the Bible. not some mans be conscious however the recognize God. check out their culmination, are all of them from God? The Bible is the ideal be conscious, their magazines and learn classes would look sturdy yet basically have faith in a sturdy Bible. in the event that they conflict and instruct you something, try it see if it lines up with Scripture and if it would not rebuke them, deliver them packing.

False prophets and teaches are enemies of the cross as they lead the church away from the true teachings of Christ with just enough truth to make it plausible. In the end, they will answer to God for misleading his people.

Jesus said that in the end there would be many of these.
also there is a false prophet who is to come before the anti-christ comes, if you believe in that sort of thing.

Jesus Christ died on the cross for us to gain salvation by faith in Hid atonement for our sins IF we repent of them and are lead by the Holy Spirit. Most other religions I've seen are teaching some form of salvation by works.

No disrespect but isn't it obvious?
They are 'false' teachers ......meaning whatever Jesus taught, they not only teach something different, but present it as truth.
They claim to represent Jesus but teach things that he never would.
I doubt if Jesus would warm up to these people.
Actually, the word 'enemy' is quite fitting.

There is only one way for mankind to come to God. That is TheWay God prescribes. False prophets and teachers keep mortals from knowing The Truth of God's Word and Will. Thus endangering their immortal souls.
