based on height...not overweight but a little extra pounds there. bmi is how your height and weight is calculated. a sample chart is listed below.

Body Mass Index or BMI is calculated by dividing your Weight in Kilos by your Height (in Metres) squared. This means you will have to convert the figures you have given above.

Before you read the standard adult BMI references (where 20-25 is normal), be aware that it DOES NOT APPLY to you. Because you are an adolescent, you have to use standard charts. The charts can be found by a simple google search, but it will take into account your age and gender too. Once you have found a chart, the limits you should look at are the 5th centile and the 95th centile BMI figures. If your BMI is between these two range references, then you are medically fine and in good condition (weight wise).

I cannot say is you are generally of the right weight since I do not know your age. Age is fairly important in terms of the charts as is your gender. You have to find the chart for females and one that has your age on it.

I hope this helps!

Body mass index calculators use you height and weight to see if you fall within a healthey weight range. You can calculate it here: http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/

you are not overweight at all. in fact, your bmi is 18.8, and 18.5-24.9 is considered healthy.

No you are NOT overweight. Overweight would be like 120 pounds or something, you're average.
