the environment here i think, so it keeps pooing or peeing :) around the house and it's driving all of us crazy! we put diapers on her, so she wouldn't, but she takes them off. Are there anyways I can take her to stop? By the way, I don't think I'd be able to teach her anymore, because she's too old...

Okay well you need to talk to auntie about this because this is an issue. She is an older dog so if she hasn't had a check up at her vets in a while you might suggest to your aunt that she take her. Older dogs can have some cognative dysfunction which can cause some bathroom issues.
Does your aunt have a doggy door at her house because if she does then Daisy is not giving you the cues to let her outside because she hasn't really needed to learn them.
I moved from a house with a doggy door to a house without one and had to retrain my dog to let me know that she needed to go out but I still use a potty pad onthe floor in my bedroom where she usually has her accidents just incase.
I would talk to your aunt and discuss crate training Daisy while she's at your house. Get a crate from the pet store and that is where Daisy lives when she cannot be watched continuously you can talk to a trainer about how to do this or you can email me. If this is an issue you could get a baby gate and close her off in a room with puppy pads and preferrable an uncarpetted floor.
Daisy should be taken out first thing in the morning before breakfast. I always tell my dogs to go pottie. You can try doing that. After breakfast take Daisy for a walk. I'd say about 15-20 minutes. Only after this can Daisy spend time with the family while being watched. Take her out immediately after she gets up from a nap, after eating and if you play with her after that. In the evening she should have a nice long walk after dinner so she has a chance to have a bowel movement.
Well I hope that this helps.

There is allot of things that you can try but unfortunately they may not work. If the dog is older and has never been properly potty trained this could trigger the problem, also it could be territory issues are there any other pets in the house? depending on how old Daisy is she may have some health issues that are causing this and you may need to have your aunt take Ms daisy to the vet and have her checked out. You might try crating her if the problem worsens. Good Luck

They age of the dog is not a factor in learning, unless there is an under lying medical condition. Which could also be the cause of the pooping or peeing. Or the dog could be either a) scared out of her mind in your house or b) dominate and trying to make you an your family submit.

Take the dog to the vet to rule out an medical conditions, after that, go back to house breaking training.

She may not be able to control her actions if she is too old. Diapers that are specially made for older dogs are a great idea. You could also feed the dog on a strict schedule and therefore the dog will eliminate on a schedule and it will be more predictable.

Why aren't you all talking to your aunt about the problem? It's NOT your problem. It's hers. I am a dogowner and would not for a minute inflict this behavior on a relative of mine. If she can't control her dog she should make arrangements for someone to watch her at home or board her while she visits you. Until you confront your aunt, there is no solution!

because it's a new house, she's marking her territory. you could try and keep her in the kitchen, or somewhere that's easy to clean up after. otherwise you could get a crate to keep her in while you're out of the house.
