Your friend was very rude. Number 1:She didn't respect the fact that you didn't want to go out because you were lonely. Number 2: She brought a date AND made out with him the whole evening. Your friend sucks, she doesn't care about your feelings You were totally in the right to leave with other friends.

You didn't do anything wrong. The fact you were honest and upfront with her from the start that you didn't want to go should have been enough.

But there are those who you have to whack with a 2x4 just to get their attention and then talk to them. Sounds like your "friend" is one of those goofs.

Don't worry about it. If you come right down to it, if she gets mad over this, then she isn't a friend you need anyway.

Happy New Year!

You weren't the rude one. I hope you ended up having a good time despite your bad experience. I wouldn't apologize, she should apologize to you. Next time, if you don't want to do something, don't be so fast to give in. Also, you don't have to have a bf to have a good time, that will all come in time, but for now.....just enjoy yourself! Take care.

First of all why is she making out with her ex? That is a bit odd. Yes she is totally being rude expecting you to sit there like a puppet while she has fun. Friends like her you don't need! She sounds like a user!

She was rude in the first place. You made the wrong decision to make the matter worse. You two should work it out and both apologize.

Sounds to me like she's insensitive and self-centered. She showed no compassion for you and how you were feeling. I'd have left, too, if I were you. I don't think you were being rude at all, but rather she's the one who was.

You were TOTALLY right to leave. It was extremely rude of her to insist that you go out and then ignore you to make out with her EX. She is the one that needs to appologize to YOU!

I think that was very rude of her ! What a cheek having a go at you - if I was you I would stick with your friends that came to rescue you.

I think that you shouldn't have let her walk all over you to begin with...you should have stuck to your original decision not to go out. She sounds like the kind of person that probably does this often...why are you friends with her to begin with?
