What are you doing? Now would be the normal time to make new years resolutions to do better. However with a cumulative GPA of .9, the question is; can you do any better? After thinking long and hard and if you answer affirmatively then you must think of your options. Option 1 is to go to community college and take easy classes to boost your GPA. Option 2 is to stay where you are at and just hit the books hard without mercy. This means you will have pretty much no life except for your studies. Option 3 is to take some much needed time off and figure out what you want to accomplish in life, this does include getting a 40 hour a week job. Option 3 is good because hopefully you will get bored at work and want to go back to school. The hunger factor is very powerful. If it was up to me I would go to community college part time and work part time until I was back on my feet. At least I would be doing something besides wasting time and money.

Is college the right place for you? It's not for everybody. If it's not your thing there are lots of ways to live a good life without a degree. If you are smart and really want to get an education, just start over! You have options. Don't let a setback stop you in your tracks. Lots of people if not the majority start and stop school more than once. I did. Now I've got two degrees. Maybe take a semester off and do some soul searching. You don't have a deadline. Think about what you REALLY want and do what it takes to get it.

If your *** GPA is .9 after 3 semesters, that means that your grades must have been F's or close to F's for the other semesters too. Start going to class and doing homework. Take advantage of resources available at your school, like tutors or after class help.
There's a good chance that you're on academic probation or kicked out of school, so you should consider checking.
If you live on campus you should consider moving home and going to community college for a while.

Al- poor dear. This could not really be a surprise to you tho. Who's paying for your education? If you don't want to be a laborer, a cashier or have "would you like fries with that? be a regular part of your vocabulary, you need to get your degree and do it with flair. Decide that your future is worth spending a little effort on. Call a "Do Over"- begin the next semester with an unquenchable desire to do this thing. Maybe you are not interested in the degree you have chosen. It's your life. You could change the world. Good luck Al. God bless. Love you!

It's done. You probably already know the reason. So, just
take less courses and study next semester. If you can get
in college, it means a lot of people on committe thinks that you're smart. And it's ok. It happens to a lot of people in college.

Do admire the fact you ask people for advice. It means you want to change. Good for you.

Get a tutor. Talk your teachers and see where you went wrong. Did you cut classes? Did you party too much? You need to get serious about your studies. College credits are too expensive to waste and you will need a good education to earn a decent living.

Ask for help next semester if you decide to go back to school.
Take less classes or simply take some time off and don't go back to school.

Get serious about school or do something else. If someone else is paying for your education (parents) tell them don't hide. Maybe they can help, they know you real wel.
