You can find clothes that look amazing at other stores that are less expencive. There`s a store called Rave [also called Lola] that has really cute clothes that aren`t that expencive. Goody`s is another good store if you just look in the juniors section. You can look good without spending a ton of money.

Heather,
It's better to be noticed for your brains or achievements or something positive rather than your clothes. I know there is a lot of pressure to have the "best" designer clothes, but you have to ask yourself if it's worth it to be popular just for wearing the right clothes. People who only judge you by what you wear are superficial and will never really be your friends. Just be who you are inside and you'll be fine. Good Luck.

depends on who you want to get noticed by...if it's for a guy...forget it...they don't care...i could be wearing dolce and gabanna and my guy wouldn't even blink...actually he'd think i was crazy for spending that much on an article of clothing....if it's to fit in with an "in crowd"...it's sorta worthless too since they could just brush you off as a poser.....if you like the clothes and you want to spend the money...then it's a different story...but if you're happy with your style the way it is and it costs less too then don't worry about hollister and stuff....

If you have good fashion sense you can make anything look good. Of course I am a guy. but I have PLENTY of shirts from department stores and hell even target. You just have to know how to dress... More expensive does not always mean its better.. ;-) Well except for pants.. Lol!! I have expensive jeans cause I were them all the time, and they tend to hold up better than cheaper pairs... Didn't I just contradict myself

honestly, you would probably be better using that money to create your own style that suits both your shape, and personality.
buy a few classic outfits, and team them with individual accessories etc. don't follow fashion too closely, but include little flares from things that are 'in' to accentuate your oufits.
if you feel good, you will look good - and you will get attention. so just wear things that fit and suit you, and that you like wearing - and half the battle is done!

honestly it is not really worth it. the clothes may increase ur self esteem, but they wont help on the popularity level very much. as long as u look nice in ur clothes, people willl nootice u. if this is ur style- try a chic store like h and m

you could do that but it is usualy just a tag and there are plenty of imitations out there and if anyone asks you where you got it just tell them hollister also you shouldn't have to change the way that you look just to get friends who don't like you for who you are

It's a lot better to wear your own personal style and disregard labels. I myself absolutely detest prepster clothes. I'm more of a European dresser.

its not all what 'brand names' you wear...as long as you're wearing clothes that are stylish...i dont think it really matters...if your cute in wally clothes...then..why do you need hollister clothes? theres definitely some girls i know that wear hollister and American Eagle clothes, but DO NOT look good in them...so..its not the brand name, its what you decide to wear, who cares where its from!?!

people sometimes call me a poser since i wear name brands like that half the time. but i just wear it if i have the money to buy it and i like the style. don't buy it, not like it, and wear it just because everyone else is. do what i do, if you like the style of a shirt there, then get just one at a time.
