I have a snake-bite and a labret so I'm pretty confident in my answer. It's about a pinch that lasts for a second. It hurts, but not even bad enough to take your breath away. Your lip will be quite swollen for at least a week afterwards and will then be replaced with a thick "ball" of tissue that you can feel when you squeeze it. It will be sore and will be aggrivated the more you talk and eat, so refrain from doing too much of either of that. Avoid touching it with your tongue or your fingers and don't change the jewelry for six weeks I believe.

I wash all my piercings with hot water and a Q-tip and all of them, including my lips turned out fine. You can take it, and it looks hot, good luck.

First don't do it yourself! It only feels like a pinch when they first do it but it hurts for a few days after. It doesn't hurt very bad it is like a bruise or sore muscle. But just clean it A LOT or else it will get infected. Also make sure the piercing needle the person uses is clean.

It doesnt harm before each and every thing, such as you could take the needle stepping into, yet whilst she places the hoop in and after a whilst later on, it starts to break. It hurts greater beneficial than piercing yur nostril or ear

I used to have mine pierced. and before you decide to pierce your's you should know that it's not pretty. if you wanna take it out then it'll leave the ugliest scar and it'll just look disgusting! Luckily for me, I decided to take it out the day after I got it pierced. But to answer your question, it depends on how much pain you can take. For me, it didnt hurt much but it did bother me a little. well good luck!

The piercing itself will hurt more than getting your ears pierced. But the constant friction everytime you talk is going to take getting used to. Don't drink lemonade or OJ! and for God's sake, don't bite your lip!!!!

It was my most painful piercing. Mine hurt in the following order:

lip (most)
nose
orbital
cartilage
navel
eyebrow
stretching my ear lobes
hood
ear lobes (least)

I've had my ears pierced, so i think it'll feel just like that. it really depends on how sensitive you are.
