And lo, it came to pass that I did watch almost the first half-hour of the mad and joyful satire,
And remember much of why it made me laugh my socks off every time before.
But woe to me, I chose to turn o'er the channel, to observe
The ending of the Dibley vicar, which was wan and pale with silliness, and it made me take a vow to all the true lords of intelligent satire,
That I would acquire the chronicle of Brian, who shall be called Brian, this weekend from my local DVD store.

Here endeth the lesson...

Was at work today when i mentioned "The Life of Brian" was being aired tonight. A born again christian colleague piped up; "That's that blasphemous film where he (Brian), purports to be Jesus."
She somehow could not understand that is exactly what the film is NOT saying..
I have this on DVD and whenever I wish to look on the bright side of life, I place it into the DVD caddy and press play....absolutely first class British irreverent humour at its best.

My Channel 4 gets the Spanish station. While it would be fun to watch Life of Brian overdubbed into Spanish, it's not actually on right now. I'm watching Judge Mathis dealing with the trash of Chicago (that's where I live).

This isn't grammatically correct.
Did you mean 'tho must watcheth'
If so not only did you not phrase it as a question but you misused the older form of English.
