she's getting a payoff - probably power over you. take away the payoff, she'll stop. don't show her that you're upset, don't show her that you care, just let her do it and walk away. it's cold, and it's hard, but you have to take away the payoff to get rid of the behavior.

My little brother did that. Not when he did't get his way. He did it just because he could, I guess. My Mom asked the doctor and he said he's just doing it to get attention. He wasn't going to do it to he point that he would injure himself. I would ignore it. If she doesn't stop, I would take her to he doctor, just to make sure there's not something else going to there.

Best of luck

Sounds like a good old fashioned temper tantrum! It's best to completely ignore those. When she figures out they don't work, she'll move on to something else.

the first thing is ignore her, just make sure that she won't hurt herself.they usually do these stuff to get your attention and if you show her that you are not paying attention she will soon realize that doesn't work.I know it is hard to do it but work.

Put a helmet on her and ignore the bad behavior.

How old is she? Tell her now and pick her up and sit her in the corner. Tell her that she's going to get hurt and that she can't do that.
