Put a nasty dog into the garage...

The cat is more interested in the vents at the bottom of the garage door. Neighborhood cats have discovered your cat and are peeing on the outside of your garage door. Mitsy is interested in that. Whats the harm in letting your cat have a sniff? So long as your garage isn't a deathtrap with pools of anti-freeze sitting about, I don't see why you should worry. Otherwise, close the door.

Try making , or getting a recording of a dog barking .
When your cat goes into the garage , play the recording !
I'm sure it won't go into the garage again .

Cats have no shoulder blades. That is why they can get through small entrys. Your cats' whiskers let him/her know if the space is big enough to crawl through or not. The whiskers sense the size of the space. If they feel something with their whiskers, they will not try to pass through it. I would reccommend going to a cat specialty store where they sell extension whiskers. You use just a bit of Elmer's Glue and add on the extension whiskers to the ends of your cats own whiskers. When the cat comes to your garage, the new, longer, whiskers will signal him that he is too big to make it through the opening and he will stop trying to go into the garage. He will now think his body is too large to squeeze through. Good Luck! :)

I have the same problem! My cat used to sleep in the trash can when he was a baby! Little rascals~!! I think the citrus thing was a good idea...something that also might help is scented trash sacks...mine have a lemon scent-I believe they are hefty bags and on the box they say "scent to help deodorize" or something similar to that! Good Luck

I had that problem, so I put a cat door in the door that leads to the garage from the house and stuck the litter box in the garage. 2 issues resolved!!

**MOTH BALLS ARE TOXIC** never use them to deter a pet.

A dog should be trained on how to eat, walk with you, not to bark, potty training and sleep on its place etc. You can teach anything to your puppy, dogs get trained easily with some good instructions. If you want some good training tips visit https://tr.im/8mL4l

If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.

It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.

That cat repellent spray word but you just have to spray it every other day. I use it on mine to keep her from chewing electrical cords, climbing Christmas trees and off furniture. Maybe if you sprayed or around the door where she is entering.
