1 cup flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1 stick butter
1 large can peaches
Melt butter in glass 9x13 pan. Mix flour, baking powder, sugar and milk. Pour over butter. Spread peaches over batter and gently pour juice over all. If desired, sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350 for about 1 hour. Dough will rise and cover peaches during baking. My family loves this.
Variation: Peel & chop 6 fresh peaches into a 2 qt. pan. Take an extra cup of sugar and a squirt of lemon juiceand pour over peaches. Cook on low heat until syrupy. Use instead of canned peaches.

2/3 cup of self-rising flour
1 can of sliced peaches (the big, fat can)
1/2 stick or margarine or butter
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 350.Take a small glass pie dish, or casserole dish, not too big, or your recipe will be a disaster. Put the margarine in the pan, place in the oven to melt. Mix the flour, milk, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl (it will be liquid). Opens the can of peaches drain about 1/3 cup of the heavy syrup off. Put the peaches in a bowl, put a PINCH(1/4 teaspoon) of all spice or Cinnamon and nutmeg, mix gently in peaches.
Take the melted butter in pan put of the oven, pour mixture, place peaches evenly over the top -pour in left over juice in the bowl (not the syrup you drained), bake about an hour-uncovered(depending on your oven) or until it browns and crusts at the top!!
IT IS REALLY GOOD & SIMPLE- it makes a little dumpling layer below the crust-it's real good!! My mom uses cake mix, I don't like it; it's too rich tasting!!

This is what I do.....
I take 2 cans of peach pie fillings and put it in a rectangular pan.
Take one box of yellow cake mix and dump it all over the top of the peaches. Melt one stick of butter and pour it over the dry yellow cake mix. Bake at 350 until the top is brown and the peaches bubble.
It is really easy!
