You can read the bible endlessly for ambigousness, vuageness, and imprecision for the application of information in your's and your friends, family, and associates life context of application of resourses; though you will never find the level of efficency for application of the various components of measurement of life energy which is clear and functional with the simple information of the words on the wheel of buddhist terms poster. Now I say this to bring your mind to a modern and present state that the world does not operate its investments on anything other than deception because if business was truthful with its investments then everyone could just play the stock market and get rich without doing the labor involved in servicing the needs of the various mechanicaly measured componets of any economy. The answer to your question is a single word: Sophistry which is the old simple practice of the art of lying for the kings of ancient socioty to keep the pesants controlled for working so that the king could keep the profits. If you are makeing sure that you are not doing the research that someone more qualified is already doing or has already completed and thereby wasting your time unless you are persuing a theology college major then you need the new Microsoft Office software called: OneNote 2007 which you can get for 1.50 dollars on microsoft.com that way you can keep up the tracking of the concordance you are useing. My personal page listed on my profile gives enough information to get you started with your studies.

Jesus is quoted many times in the Bible saying that a believer can ask for anything through prayer and receive it. He even goes so far as to say that mountains and trees can be thrown into the sea simply by praying for it. This is clearly a lie, and can be proven to be a lie by any believer.
More Lies:
And Jesus answered and said to them, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, `Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it will happen. "And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." (Matthew 21:21-22)
A lot of Christians ignore what Jesus actually says in the Bible. They also tend to add things to the actual words to make them say something else. If you honestly and truthfully read these quotes, without adding to them, it is very easy to see that Jesus is not saying that God will think about your prayers. He says God will grant all your prayers. Clearly, God doesn’t grant all prayers and this proves that Jesus was a habitual liar.

When Jesus speaks...he means that those who die won't die. He's talking about the physical death that ALL of us will face. There's no such thing as an elxir of life. There's no hidden water of life. There's just no such thing. Jesus said to his disciples, that they wouldn't die a SPIRITUAL death. Yes, all his (12) disciples died. But their spirits all lived to go to heaven.
The Kingdom of God is coming soon at the second coming of Jesus. During that time, souls will be reaped and People who have believed until that time will join Jesus and their Creator.
Christianity is a relationship with someone who loves you. Someone who died for you. Someone who wants you to be with them forever. Someone who doesn't care what you did when you are young, old or dead. That someone is Jesus. If you want to know more about who and what he was like...read the New Testament of the Bible at www.bible.com
It's a good thing to question your surroundings. It's a good thing to want to learn more.

Jesus was basically a cult leader. He told his disciples to forsake, even hate their families. His message was a promise that the revelation of heaven on earth was close at hand (within his lifetime.) He told his followers to give away everything they owned (since the end was near.)
We know that his prophecies went unfulfilled. The first century Jews that still followed him after his death manipulated his message to be one of an uncertain revelation instead of an immanent one. This is the greatest reason we still have Christianity today. Truth be told, it was all a lie based on the ravings of a delusional first century man.

The beginning of the kingdom began with the annointing of the king...the resurrected Christ Himself. They saw a glimpse of His glory at the transfiguration (keep reading).
And all those who believe will not taste the "second death". For Jesus said, "he who dies will live and he who lives shall never die". That IS eternal life!

It's not over yet, time is still moving on. That day is still coming, God cannot lie even if he tried.

OK. Trying to find a loop hole? Ever heard of "The Day of Pentecost?" It occurred 50 days after the resurrection and 10 days after the ascension.

The disciples saw this power at the Transfiguration, the Resurrection, and on the Day of Pentecost. All will see it at the Second coming.
