Also, they transformed a whole peninsula of crazed, war-like arabs into one civilization where justice prevailed, women actually had rights for the first time, babies were not buried alive, people believed in one God and science flourished.

サイヤ人 wrote that they haven't done anything positive since Islam. That is a nonsensical statement since this question is about what did "Muslims give to the world". I think you are referring to arabs. All of their great achievements came only after they became Muslims, not before it.

Looking over the face of the earth, I would say that the Muslims have contributed little to the positive growth of culture or enterprise across the world. My first choices by far would be the Oriental and Eastern European cultures--they are the real top contributors.

Muslims preserved Greek and Roman thoughts and ideas throut the Dark Ages. West was barbarbic, backwards, etc. until the Crusaders rediscovered these ideas by interaction with the Muslims. Oh, they also invented the zero.( 0 )
