She sounds like she has some self-esteem problems... Really what does it matter if she takes some of your glory by wearing your outfit or taking credit for something you started (or whatever)? Isn't it enough for you to know that she must admire your fashion sense and quirky attitude so much that she tries to duplicate it? I would be flattered. Be the bigger person. She has issues. If it bothers you so much why not try helping her with her fashion sense, go shopping with her. Or every once in a while buy her the same outfit that you pick out for yourself. Her jealousy/envy is only fueled when you act upset about it.

Being older or younger doesn't really always matter when it comes to being a role model. It boils down to who is the most secure with themselves and that sounds like you. She is insecure and is jealous of you because everything you have and do seems right to her. I would just give her some leeway, remember she is her sister, and I would rather be copied than insecure.

She'll grow up eventually and outgrow this childish behavior. She thinks highly of you and your tastes in things. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Although it may be annoying now, it is her way of saying "I love you". Try not to be too hard on her. Try to explain that this bugs you and try to get her in a new direction by maybe finding her some new friends, etc. or get her interested in something she may really enjoy as oppossed to what you are doing. You could also introduce her to something you know she hates to do and pretend to like it and see what she does. If she pretends to like it too, play along till she is so miserable she cant stand doing it anymore. Then maybe she will stop. (For instance, if she can't stand stamp collecting because she finds it boring, get interested in it yourself and see what happens.) Good Luck

Well, if she is borrowing your clothes, you can always get them monogramed so people will know they are not hers!
Obviously, she has self-esteem issues. Has she always been this way? Can you talk to her and tell her you are flattered that she wants to be like you, but you would rather she develop interests and a fashion sense of her own?
When she wears something of her own, do you compliment her choice --or tell her it looks bad? Maybe you can help her develop a style that is "hers" rather than yours.

Just tell her. Stop letting her get into your things. Let your parents know. Keep all your things put away and maybe get some locks. :( I have all bothers. (Well 4 step brothers, one realy brother, one 1/2 brother, and one step sister, Oh and an almost X sister-in-law.) So I have no reality really...Good luck.
