(kanka is most of time used for best friends but sometimes it can be used to mean dude, here it's more like dude),

Other than my friend, I think she (Pinar-i guess) translated so very well, kanka it might be translated as hey dude ,but that one works as well. It is very common to see this kinda sense of humor among Turks and dont think if it has any motives towards you. S/he is teasing is all.
