I do find it pretty funny, yet I am amazed how much hate is out there. Is this what any religion requires, that we insult others who have different or no religious beliefs?

First you realise what sin is
then see it with different eyes
it is no surprise.

you have to see it to believe it!

Come on now. Why is it any different than live debate? Sure it gets a little rough, but what debate doesn't? I have learned a lot from Yahoo answers. I'm still agnostic, but I've learned a lot about the beliefs of others.

yes!
get the hell out of here!
you are wasting your time because no one is saved or believes what you say.
On the other hand, time spent in preaching gospel might produce fruit of faith and righteousness and even conversion.
I believe i have something true to say because i have spent my entire life preaching and teaching and studying and praying with tears to get the answers of Perfect truth.
However, i also have the visions of God to inspire me and to be a prime mover into understanding the scriptures to gain perfection and righteousness.
my understandings of the written words is based on all those that have commented before me, who were inspired to believe and preach as well. Maybe at point your answer to a question is perfect and sends a person into the correct direction.

Oh please. - There have been many answers from Christians that were not filled with hate or slander. Of course, you are going to have some who do - just as the atheists say Christians are stupid and some make sexual innuendos about God. But the percentage of both who answer civilly and kind is much greater than the ones who hate and abuse.

It is sad. though everyone thinks their religion is the right one or else they wouldn't be a part of it. so just as prejudice of color is out there because they think white is divine supremecy, so there is hate between religions. Ppl will believe what they want to. why bother criticize.

no not all religions require us to hate, in some it is against our beliefs, but religion is different from belief.
religion teaches you what you should believe and do, while belief it Jesus and his gift of salvation, give you freedom that religion does not.

Quite a few religious nuts out there. Unless people agree with them, they go off on meaningless rants.

I don't think it is a sin if you are trying to help someone become a christian. That is a christians' job. I don't know about the other religions but that is the main reason to come here, not to fight.

As time passes, everyone changes, so to waste a bit of time here is perfectly ok.

For people who are truely seeking answers and for those who are sincerely trying to help it is not sin. but one day every word and action will be judged by God.
