He's a bit older than me and usually very, very sweet.

He gave me diamond earings and a gold and silver bracelet for Christmas, buys all meals, opens doors, fixes me coffe and breakfast in the morning...but the problem is..

When we are out and about, anyone who didn't know us, wouldn't know we are "a couple" because he hugs on and dances with other women, which really doesn't bother me, EXCEPT, he barely hugs and kisses me or flirts with me anymore.

Last night, I was hit on by soo many guys while he was playing pool (like 8 games in a row) and when I said, "I have a boyfriend" they were all, "so where is he?" I fealt like that scene in the original Dirty Dancing, where he says, "no one puts Baby in a corner".

I talked with him this morning about it and he apologized and said he was just tired and caught up in the pool playing.

Am I being too picky here??? Or was my grandma right, "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?"

He has just started acting like this...like the last few times we've been out.

Does he drink when ho does those things or is this all the time? I f he does it all the time he is a big flirt and you should tell him how you feel. If he is not giving you the attention you want, let him know that he isn't the only fish in the sea.

I hope you're not hurt when I say this, but if it started happening just recently, my immediate thought would be that he's tired of the relationship.

Also I noticed that you said "he hugs on and dances with other women, which really doesn't bother me." If you are serious about the relationship it definitely should. Remember that if you are serious you (I assume) will want to have children with this man some day. Find someone who won't leave you in the middle of the hurdle. Do it for your future children if nothing else.

I hope that helps

I agree with your grandmother and ask why would you put up with that if you've been dating for over a year? When you guys go out, you should be the only female that he gives his attention to and not other women. It's okay if he's just friendly with them, but not flirty and especially not in front of you. First, confront him about othe incidents and tell him how you feel. If he doesn't seem to care, then maybe you shouldn't either. Give your time to someone who wants it and returns the favor.
