You cant really ignore the fact she is laying eggs as she will continue to do it,
Going by what you just said you have two options really.
You can either remove the male from the cage
Or you can provide them with a nest box, if you want them to stay in same cage consider getting them one, or she'll keep laying and he';; keep breaking because theres humans around and no where to hide them they destroy there eggs in a bid to protect them......
Make sure she is getting enough calcium provide a cuttle fish bone or something, you can find them at your local pet-shop, just go in and ask,
You need to do this as other wise the calcium to make the eggs gets taken from her bones making her weak - which means she could become egg bound and die.
You could also consider taking anything out of the cage that she could use as nesting material and keeping the floor really clean, also if you reduce the hours of daylight they get for a week or two this means covering them with something earlier than what they normally go to sleep and then uncovering them later than what they normally get up. might solve it for a while.
Never remove eggs untill she either gets bored and leaves them or the male destroys them, because if you remove them before that she will keep laying to replace the taken eggs,
Good-luck

Hi, My parakeets lay eggs all the time and they hatch in about 18-21 days. They will take care of the babies, just be sure to keep plenty of food in their cage. Also you might want to give them veggies and fruits and a calcium supplement. The babies will come out of the box on their own. If you want to tame them, you can handly them after they get their pin feathers if the parents don't object. Sometimes they do. They are so cute when they are hatched. If you don't want babies just let the egg be. If you want babies put in a nesting box. If you remove the egg, the female will keep laying.

To get babies, I suggest you get a nesting box for them. You also shouldn't let the male crack the eggs because your female might start alienating you since she will think you smashed the eggs. I would allow the babies to hatch and then if you still don't want them, you coud always sell them.

Ive noticed a lot of people havent said that it is possible to remove the eggs and replace them with fake eggs.
as i have done so with my parakeet...it works.
distract the hen and the male while someone takes out the old and puts in the new (or vice versa)
these fake eggs are sold in a lot of pet stores and are relatively cheap.

Get your birds a nesting home. Make sure she always sits on the eggs. When they hatch, you can donate, sell, or give them away. But if I were you, I would keep them, because without the mom, they will probably die.

they are not going to be able to hatch eggs without a nesting box. If she is not sitting on the eggs, they will not hatch. they are probably not even being fertilized.
there is no harm in ignoring the eggs.

They are likely not fertilized eggs, give your female a breeding box, she'll be more comfortable. If he breaks them and she keeps laying, separate them. If she lays to many she could die of calcium deviancy.

You can take the eggs out of the cage as soon as you notice them. As long as you don't have any kind of nest or box in the cage, chances are the eggs will never mature anyway.

If you dont want eggs, then it can be a problem, becuse if you pull the eggs she will lay more and then she will loose calcium
