1st of all u are never to old to love someone.the fears for most people between25& 50 r usually compatible.I remembered once I dated a doctor who was an ideal catch or so I thought at the time but I was 20 & he was 43.Too much difference in maturity level. We really liked each other though, when we were in a social enviorment it was hard .Our relationship was good but I later realized there was too much difference in age. There was a person 10 years older once 4 me. We had a wonderful time things clicked but my hormones were young ,he was ready to settle down.If my maturity level wouldhave been ready 4 a commitment it would have worked. In the age bracket u r talking about u should have both settled down some & probably have alot of the same experiences, therefore the age difference & maturity level should b similar in speaking. How do u get along? How do they relate w/friends & family? These things u need to look at & then really communicate w/each other & discuss it.Don't let society tell u who to love .Not all people r the same Good luck!

That's not too much of an age difference since you are both well in to adulthood. I think people see maybe another 10 year age difference in say a 28+ and 18 year old and feel that the younger one hasn't really had much life experience (or when one is 20 or so years older) that's when somethings just not right....but even so to each his own..

10 years at the age of 32 is not too old. My husband is 7 years older than me but it isn't even a factor in our relationship. Age is just a number. Let him know how you feel. If he feels the same way, great. If not, then you've got a great friend.

One thing to think about is having kids. He is getting up there in age that he may not want to have kids. I am married to a guy that is 10 years older than me but we are 26(me), 36. We just had our first child and know that we have to get going on the other ones so he won't be too old to do things he wants to do with them.

Don't base what you feel on age unless it's illegal! 42 isn't old and neither is 32. Live life to the fullest because tomorrow isn't guaranteed! And no 10 years difference isn't too much!!

I'm 49, my beautiful wife's 25. Very happy almost 3 years now. One-year-old son, doing great.
Both of us were looking for someone who wasn't all caught up in drama.

Both of my sisters is married to men more than 10 years older than they are.

They have both been happily married over 15 years.

If you find the right person for you....if there's love and respect on both sides....if you make each other happy....then age doesn't matter.
