A H**? I'm racking my brains to work out what that could stand for, but it is hopeless. There are no naughty words that I can think of that start with H and have only three letters.

I guess you have to do what's right for you. Some people think that from an evolutionary biological standpoint, guys who sleep around but still come back to their partner can make good providers for their children, whereas a woman who sleeps around leaves her partner in the position where he doesn't know if he's the father of her children so is less likely to defend them from lions and the like.
At the end of the day we're social animals but we have the freedom to live where we want to (at least I do and I hope that you are also from a civilised country in that respect) so if the people around you judge you in a way you don't like, go somewhere else!

Because men are usually out for one thing, and when women do it they usually think "oh he likes me", no he likes your *ex.
