I use DVD decrypter to copy movies to my hard drive, but with some movies it cannot break the encryption. Can anyone help me with a freeware program or a way to upgrade my version DVD decrypter?

I don't know of freeware but I do have a link at my site below under the Chatty Kathy and Friends page under the movies link to a program that will allow you to make legal back up copies of any dvds. Hope this helps and Happy New Year.

Some DVDs are harder to copy than others. Use DVD Shrink for good success, plus it is free. Remember, it is also illegial to copy copyright protected material.

many DVD's have copy protection built into them that may keep you from doing such a thing

clone dvd. works on all the new stuff to.

download any dvd .
