If history is any indication, it can take years by the time amendments are added and committee's have their hearings and meetings.

Hopefully, neither parties will jeopardize their run for the White House so we will have until 2008 to make our government realize we expect our laws to be enforced! We do not need any new laws just enforce the ones on the books!
