If you HONESTLY want the answer, here it is:
According to the prophecy in Zechariah 9:9, the King (Jesus) would come riding on a colt (the foal of a donkey).
You are obviously reading from the NKJV.
Try reading the Amplified Version and I think it will make things a lot more clear.
Matthew 21:7 - "They brought the donkey and the colt and laid their coats upon them, and He seated Himself on them [the clothing]."
The clothes were draped across both the donkey and the colt; but when the Bible says that "He seated Himself on them," the noun "them" refers to the coats on the colt, not both animals.
Earnestly seek the Truth and it will find YOU!
GOD Bless!

As they approached Jeruseluam and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, saying to the, "Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkeytied there, with her colt beside her. Untie them and bring them to me. If anyone says anything to you, tell him that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away. This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet:
" Say to the Daughter of Zion,
'See,your King comes to you,
gentle and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey' "
Jesus was fulfilling prophecy. I would hardly call it a circus act.

A donkey is a donkey. A colt is a horse. The "them"...another Biblical inconsistency.
As far as the 'acrobat' thing goes, I think he performed more like Chris Angel. Mindfreak.

Hmm, that is odd. never noticed the "them". Well, maybe Jesus was very acrobatic and liked to put on a show for the people!

You speak your corrupt heart & soul. Out of the mouth speaks the heart. Satan has possessed you. He will soon use you and destroy you. Mark these words. Soon your life will get worse and worse, you will have no peace. Turn to God he will heal you.
