If we came from dirt, why are people allergic to dust?

Some monkeys might be allergic to bananas. Those that HAD to survive on bananas would then die out along with a genetic propensity for banana allergies - thats called evolution.
Geez, is this really the best argument you theists can come up with?

for the same reason that we are also allergic to monkeys, and monkeys are allergic to us, and bananas are allergic to salt water. we didn't come from monkeys, we evolved.

The writer of an article in the Dharwar Vritt of 13th November 1873 states that a man-eating monkey made its appearance at Dharwar. 'It ate one or two and killed two or more persons in the neighboring villages and seriously hurt a prostitute at Dharwar.'

How sterotypical of you. Monkeys eat banannas. Asians eat rice. Mexicans eat burritos.
On a more serious note, people are allegic because it has something to do with their genetics that their body doesn't digest it like most people do.

How do you know that it's not just the pesticides that are sprayed on the banannas or the gas that they use to get them to ripen that the people are allergic to and NOT the bananas themselves?
