Although predominatly Muslim, the country of Turkey is a very westernized country that embraces a culture other than Islam. There is a large Christian population that can be found in Turkey.
FYI - ROBEDZOMBIESOUL couldn't be more wrong. Israel began it's existence over 3,000 years ago and was at one time it's own sovereign nation not to mention an empire under the rule of King David.

Yes, it is. Although Lebanon is half Christian and Half Muslim. Egypt, Jordan, and Syria also have a sizable Christian population. Iran has a small amount of Christians and Jews, as does Iraq. But since the State of Israel was formed in 1948, most Middle Eastern Jews have immigrated there or elsewhere in the world. Many of the Christians come to England, America, or Canada.
To Chain...um...Persian is an ethnicity, not a religion.

Israel is the sole non Muslim-majority u . s . a . interior the middle East. some are putting forward Lebanon, that's the least traditionally Muslim and has somewhat some Christians between its inhabitants; in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, it nonetheless has a Muslim majority, so this is somewhat stressful to stipulate it.

And no,inat,this is not the reason " why the 22 Muslim countries surrounding it have declared that they want Israel "off the map.""...the reason is that Israel illegally occupies Palestinian land since 1967 and refuse to apply international law and because they are totally against a country which by its existence denies the existence of millions of people...

Palestine and Lebanon were both Majority Christian until the Jewish state was established. After that the Jews and Muslim Palestinians forced Christians out. Israel invaded the then majority Lebanon and has caused an exodus of Christians.

israel has many muslims living inside our borders.there are mosques in nearly every town.there are jews and muslims living side by side.happy new year,from mikhal in israel.
