heavens has drawn near. (The Holy Spirit had not yet been dispenced.) (I imagine, the kingdom of Heaven, included a female, unlike the mans image.) What did man have to repent of, in order to enter the kingdom of heaven?

I'm not sure I fully understand the question, especially the reference to a female. What do you mean the Holy Spirit had not yet been dispenced?

People had to repent so that they were pure enough recognize the Messiah in the person of Jesus Christ.

All of his/her sins. It is the central message in the true Gospels (not the ones re-written by the Romans) and the Qu'ran. That is why Muslims pray five times a day...for repentance and guidance.

I won't even get into the woman part of the question, but the repent part... repent of SIN. To be 'saved', you must accept and believe that Christ is God, that he was born sinless and lived a sinless life, and that his death paid for your sin.

That's all it takes to enter heaven.

BUT, once you've accepted Christ, you must repent of your sin. Repent means, 'turn away'.

Man or woman, you have to repent of all of your sins and never remember them because once you repent to Jesus all of your sins are forgiven! John the baptist wasn't the christ, Jesus Christ Is.
