Historically, breasts show fertility and because unlike most animals human females can reproduce year-round, it was a way to show receptivity without giving away when she is actually fertile. Now I'm more into long hair and a pretty face personally, but I think modern man is so enamored with breasts because they are the only external genitalia, distinguish women from girls most readily from a distance and perhaps even remind us of the comfort of our first food source.

Its not a rude question. Men like breasts because they complete a female figure. Personally, I do not care for huge breasts while some guys do.
Breasts are part of the female anatomy that excites guys. Like eyes, legs, butts, hair, etc. Further, guys know that fondling a certain way can give a woman pleasure, almost to the point of orgasm.
Breasts are included in foreplay. Most women would be surprised or even offended if a guy didn't touch or kiss their breasts during lovemaking.

A biologist will tell you that it is instinctual to seek out the source of nutrition. An anthropologist would say that we men are attracted to the mamallian body parts as symbols of fertility. A sociologist would say that we are socially conditioned to react erotically to that part of the body. A psychologist would say that it represents the 'boy' in us. A Freudian psychologist would say that it represents a latent desire to have sex with your mother.
The average Joe would tell you that we all have hands but women's breasts are different and wonderful. The average Joe doesn't really know why and doesn't really care why, he just likes to look at and touch breasts. Sure men have them too but its just not the same. Oh, and by the way for some people the hands are erotic.

Men are genetically programed to like larger breasts, which signify being able to provide for children. Thats the simply answer. This is also why women like broad shoulders, which shows that he is able to protect her. I however, prefer a nice face.

Because that's what the media tells us is sexy. In some countries legs are considered sexy, and are guarded (clothed) like breasts, while breasts are just seen as another body part. it just depends on what is defined as beauty.

That's like asking why do girls like a guy w/ 6-abs or big biceps... its just nature and has been enbedded into us over millions of years of evolution... in ancient times big breasts were a sign of fertility... of sexual maturity... of being able to nurse strong children... etc.

Scientifically because large breasts means she will be able to bear children and feed them right. That's how we think internally.

if someone really likes someone then they shouldnt only like the breasts. some people say "you have verry nice blue eyes" that means they arent always staring at your breast. dont pay attention to boys who only look at your chest.
