Since were know that certain schools of thought were evolved before the start of Western Civilization, is it not possible that ALL religions evolved from a primative/ancient social science used to control populations. This would be the same concept used via modern Media today that influences that masses globally.

Is religion doctrine the first form of mass media: manipulative, perpetuative, and many times filled with innuendo and ignorance?

DEFINITELY!!

Especially given that the people in power (the few) had to control the many. This cannot be done by force so it is done with words.
They would use the written word, rules and laws to control people. For many centuries, it is only the rich and the wealthy who learned to write so they had the means with which to decide what is entered onto record. Historians have proven that the bible and such books today could not possibly be anything like the original records and that basically renders them useless.

Also, they would control the masses by declaring those who worked with nature as agents of the devil etc. and using force to 'put down' the few as an example and others will follow out of fear.

It's been going on since the dawn of time and over generations people just grew up being told that if they behaved differently to what was expected, then they were to be shunned. So people conformed.

I believe this no longer holds water. People are waking up and realizing that what they're hearing does not feel right. However, those who feel the need to be a part of an organised group may choose to 'believe' what they're told.

Others who believe that they are too weak to believe in themselves or are not willing to take responsibility for their own actions and decisions use religion as an excuse for their behaviour.

There seems to be an excessive amount of imbalance in today's world. Perhaps it's time to remove ALL religions and see what happens. If God truly does exist and is what people say he is, he'll be able to prove it once again for us all to see rather than gripping onto a 2000 year old story by the fingernails.

All false religious doctrines were born from the school of thought of controling the people in certain areas. Especially the money of people in certain areas.

After the Flood of Noah, the great grandson of Noah named Nimrod revolted against God and the false religious doctrines began. Semiramus, Nimrod's wife is said to have spawned gods and goddesses. God was so displeased with Nimrod's Tower of Babel that He came down, confused their language into many languages and destroyed the tower.

Man has always thought of a way to do something instead of God's way. Satan even told Eve, "then your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil."

Man wants to be a god, not do what God says to do.

The teacher in the school of thought you refer to is the one we call God. He desires to control populations by telling the people how to live so they may better prosper. How He has chosen to relay these messages to us is up to Him, so I thank Him that he cared enough about me to send the messengers He sent.

They were not invented for that. They were used at times though.
