Combine 1/4 of a cup plain yogurt and 1 cup of ice cubes in your blender, (or frozen yogurt instead of yogurt and ice), with 4 oz of the fruit juice/juices of your choice. Then add up to 3/4 of a cup of your favorite raw fruits. i.e. bananas, berries, orange, mango...Blend until perfect. The wonderful thing about smoothies are, there are no true recipes, you choose these fruits and vegetables that you like and combine them in your favorite way with ice and yogurt. It's impossible to fail at smoothies.
It may sound gross, but the best smoothie ever involves yogurt, ice, orange juice, and fresh cantaloupe, grapes, and honeydew.
Get your smoothie on girl!

I make smoothies with banana, orange juice and vanilla yogurt. I think that banana and orange juice tastes so good together. I've also added blueberries, peaches etc and then just blend it in the blender. You could try blending apple in it, but it wouldn't be very smoothe. Apple juice or apple sauce might be better. I've also added smoothe tofu too, if you're into that. It has the same texture as yogurt, just be sure to buy the smoothe kind. You can't really taste it and it's good for you.

3 fruit smoothie:
* 3 kiwis, peeled and chopped
* 2 frozen bananas, peeled and chopped
* 1 cup blueberries
* 1 cup plain yogurt
* 1 cup crushed ice
* 1/2 cold water
* 3 tablespoons honey
* 1/4 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
In a blender, combine the kiwis, frozen bananas, blueberries, yogurt, crushed ice, honey and almond extract. Blend until smooth.
Feel free to substitute other fruits to match your taste buds! Substituting mangoes for the kiwi also tastes good!

you can make a apple pie smoothie. I work at cold stone, and this is so good. So you can use frozen yogurt, or simple refrig. yogurt. 2 Granny smith apples, 2 dashes of cinnamon, to whole graham crackers, and a little caramel. yum.. or a fresh apple carrot smoothis is good.. with apples, carrot, and apple juice, blended with a little ice and yogurt if need be.

2 cups frozen fruit
11/2 cups apple juice (I used cranberry juice/green tea sometimes)
1 scoop Whey Protein
1 pinch Echinacea
1 pinch Vitamin C
