doesn't matter what I think.

it's entirely possible that he repented it's between him and God.

Nope. Years and years ago I listened to an evangelist talk about how he would share the gospel with Sadaam and even gave him a cross. The second time he visited Sadaam, Sadaan actually showed the evangelist the cross. Nevertheless, I don't think he made peace because unlike the first Christian matyr Stephen, he asked God to forgive them as they stoned him to death. Sadaam went down clutching a Koran and having a verbal fight with his witnesses. I don't think he thought he was guilty and he was most definetly full of pride.

Sadaam may have looked peaceful, but he could have easily been deceived by Satan into thinking he would be going to paradise, when instead he would really be only one step from hell.

The only way to have true peace is to have a relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Allah is the best judge and He knows better where would saddam be, He is soo merciful....

But he was not a kind leader of his nation, and Iraqis are suffering to death because of his mistakes....He served America and when they have used him all, they just got rid of him in that way........this is very usual attitude of CIA and bush...

But i must say that it was realy surprising to see him at his end times......and that was appreciable...he was so calm and satisfied...I admire him for that, No one can face death like he did, and secondly inspite of all wht he had done, peoples especialy muslims and even Iraqis were sad for him.Allah do the best judgment.........

Being at peace with his death does not mean being at peace with God. I think he may have come to terms with his death, but according to what I heard him tell the people taunting him before his death, I believe he did not get past his ego to make any sort of peace with anything. Anyone can go to Heaven if they get past their pride and start accepting Jesus.

I don't think he was at peace, I just feel he had no conscience. He may think he is going to heaven and may have peace with his own God, but my religion says you only go to Heaven through Jesus Christ, not Muhammed.

i hope so. but who are we to judge? we have NO idea...im interrested to see who u give the 10 points to, cuz any way you look at it, you arnt gonna get the true answer. and no, it doesnt matter what religion you are.....once you die and are faced by God..it is what it is. its always been up to God, but the final answer comes from God, so when you are there with Him, its all up to him..no matter if you are Muslim, or Catholic, or Jewish. God is God no matter how you look at Him or what you call Him.

Doing gross enough things kills off the human soul in the person who does them. Saddam murdered people. He was not at peace - he was dead inside.

Well, when i saw the news article on Yahoo news about how Saddam exchanged insults with those executing him I immediately thought about the thieves on the crosses next to Jesus and how they hurled insults at Jesus as they hung there. (Read Mark Chap 15)

But the one thief found forgiveness as he hung there talking with Jesus. And Jesus promised that "Today, you will be with me in Paradise" Luke 23.43

So, it's hard to tell what exactly happened with Saddam. He will stand in front of Jesus and God will be his Judge, not us. Lets leave Saddam in the Lord's hands.

But, yes anyone can be forgiven............
all we have to do is ask.

Hope that helps some

He didn't make peace with Jehovah God. He died with a copy of the Koran in his hands. I think he was very surprised the second he died.
