Respecting one anothers' belief will be part of it, but peace will be a accomplished when everyone respects reality in the natural and human realms as opposed to faith in any of the various supernatural aspects of religion. You don't need to have religious faith to understand that treating each other well (loving) will ultimately produce the best consequences for each individual.

No. While respecting the beliefs of others is something that everybody should do, some opinions are so opposed to each other that even if those opinions are respected, people still won't be able to live in harmony with one another.

I'm sick and tired of respecting the beliefs of every ignorant moron who embraces absurd faiths.

If you daughter came home and said she'd joined some weird cult that are waiting for space aliens would you be impressed!?

Believe, blind faith is just a love of ignorance. The world would be better without ignorance - we need logic and rationality. Let's leave superstition behind. It would be like humanity waking up to a new day.

That depends.

If someone believes they can bring peace to the world by invading other countries, would you respect their view? Or would we have to submit to your view, even though we may not respect it?

I don't believe that will bring about world peace.

All belief systems deserve judgement and criticism. Ironically, if we make belief systems immune from criticism, the belief system itself will eventually cease to exist.

No. It doesn't sound pleasant but I don't think we can really respect all beliefs as many will cross into our personal lives and therein lies a fight.

Yes indeed. And plus, we need:

Sensible world leaders, mutual respect and tolerance, and proper understanding of Islam by both certain bigoted non-Muslims and also by radical Islamists who misunderstand their own religion.

God knows best.

Peace & Love

=)
