My sister found a dog on her back porch. She took him to the vet to see if he has a chip and there wasn't one. There is a colar but no ID and it looks like he got out of where ever he was tide up at because there is a peice of yarn on his colar. He is a really cute Jack Russel mix. He is white with caramel spots. We have already thought of quite a few. Max, Maxwell, Jack, Zeus,Dipstick, Sprout, Spot, Peanut, and Charley. He is very curious and very sweet.
What should we name him?

My family has had many strays welcomed into our home. My sister used to work at McDonald's and on Halloween someone thought it would be funny to leave a black cat in the bathroom as a joke. They even went so low as to call and say Hey you have a black cat in your bathroom HAHAHAHA. Yeah right real funny anyways we took him in and I named him Nugget.
I think you should name your dog Jack. I just saw the movie The Lake House. If you watch it you will understand why I chose this name.

I like Dipstick and Charley. The names I've always liked for a dog are kinda weird but I think they're sweet: Boris, Fievel (phi-val)
However, if he's curious you could always call him George!

i named my jack "jitter bug" any busy name works great for a jack. be careful and make sure you know what your gettting into before you keep him, jacks are alot of work and are extreamly high enegry dogs. you also want to make sure there is no one out there missing their beloved pet, it is not uncommin for terriers to take off, a cat, squirrell, or bird can quickly take the attention of a terrier and before they know it they are far from home. put an add in the found section of your paper and give it at least 10 days

If you are keeping him try Buddy Peanut Max or anything else you can think of. If you are not POSITIVE that you will keep the dog for it's entire life or atleast most of it. Do not name him.
