When stated boudaries are violated. So it depends on the violation. There are also friendships that we outgrow. It happens.
Also, we are not sopposed to get everything from everyone. Sometimes thats at play. I know I have some friends that would be clueless if I needed to sort a problem, but they are definitely good at making me laugh and ease so stress.

Hey how are you today? Well I think it depends what is going on in the friendship did your friend do something you just can not forgive them for. Have you two grow apart. I have had many friendships in my past. Most of them have come and gone without having to end it. We basically just don't talk and that is that. But if it is someone you talk to everyday and just not talking would not be normal you have to access if it is working for the two of you. If it isn't talk to each other and see the things that are bothering you about that other person and vow to change. If you are willing to change then you are on your way. If you try and change and it still doesn't work out that happens in life, but if you two are not willing to change things in the first place then i would say you have grown too far apart. Also you just may need to spend a little time a part to figure things out. Perhaps things are too hectic right now. I hope I have helped. Have a really nice day.

If you have to ask this, means something is wrong.. I think it´s time to end a friendship when you have problems and just talking doesn´t help anymore.. When it´s becoming overwhelming and getting in the way instead of helping and being something you just enjoy!

No offense, and I have had this happen to me as well, but if you have to ask when you should end it, then that is the time. The hard part is figuring out how to make it happen. I can't help you with that thoguh, sorry.

well when that friend does not come around anymore to see you, and when you call and they are always too busy, and they dont like the same things you like,And you are always arguing with each other, and you just simply loose interest in one another, then its time to leave this friendship and move on

When the friend betrays you, lies to you or on you to someone else, they're not there when you need them, they bad mouth you behind your back to people you know, they piss you off more than they make you happy, they're very jealous hearted, they dont want you to do better than they are doing, they're always negative, they're no fun to be around anymore.

When you have to ask and when it is no longer an exchange of give and take between you and said friend.
Be responsible and be honest, compassionate but firm with your soon-to-be former friend.
Good luck and peace...

When you feel you can no longer trust that person and that when you get together nothing that other person says interests you and you feel you have nothing in common with them anymore.
Basically when the friendships gone dry.

you don't end friendships unless one of you has done something that the other can't forgive. if that's the case, they probably weren't your friend in the first place. friends are there for you no matter what.
