I'm saying I have seen a lot of post recently about the OT God, which from what I can see can be called the death God, because he can't help but kill people or order people to kill. the OT god is one of the most vicious characters in all of literature, somehow the religious faithful try to defend it by saying, "Well those people were evil and didn't listen to God," which is a pathetic answer, but seem to forget these quotes..... "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things" (Isa 45:7 KJV) -- "The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil" (Prov 16:4 KJV) -- "Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?" (Amos 3:6 KJV).

So if it is God creating this evil, how can they make excuses? Is God just PO'D? OR is this an allegory and is quite unworthy to think of a God in this manner? Man he is so angry.

Genesis 6-7, Genesis 19:24-25, Exodus 12:29-30, Exodus 32:27-28, Numbers 16:42-49 Numbers 25:1-9 Numbers 31, Judges 1: 1-8, 2nd Chronicles 14:8-14, 1 Samuel 15:2-3, Exodus 23:23, and Jeremiah 50:21-22. Many more where that came from. Just go to these passages to see the genocide! OT death god is ruthless! I see why the Gnostics said that this God was false!

Main for you...

"But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive" (Gen 50:20 NKJ).

And nope I have nothing to do with satan (lol), I think those who think of God in the manner of the OT God are placing unworthy beliefs on God. you answered nothing. I have many more scriptural proofs which prove that Gods create evil. Should I mention Pauls words on Vessels of wrath? How god makes one of honor and dishonor? What do you think Mainworry?

Nope.

God’s enemies will use scripture as Satan did to tempt Christ.
They will misquote, twist or askew the truth for their agenda.
For example, Isaiah 45:7 to say God created evil.

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

A deeper study will always manifest truth.

(create) “bara” in the Hebrew.
The Hebrew Poel Participle of the verb “bara” which, with “evil”, requires the rendering “bring about”.

(evil) “ra, raah” in the Hebrew, is never rendered “sin”.
God brings calamity about as the inevitable consequence of sin.
It is rendered “calamity”.

God brings about calamity because of sin.

Whenever there are so-called contradictions of God’s Word, a deeper study is always required.
This requires time and effort of the individual to delve into the truth of God’s Word.
Also, use your brain and think about it.
God cannot create true love.
True love will only manifest in a being of freewill.
In like manner God cannot create evil or righteousness, but will only manifest in beings of freewill.

You have answered pat of you own question. This OT God that you refer to is unworthy of your consideration. This concept of God creating evil and being pissed off is way out of step with everything that He has thought wise and in harmony with His purpose in creating us. God is the source of light and energy that
creates and sustains all things. In His wisdom, He insisted that our kind of life form has free agency. Ego creates opposition (evil). If we choose the course of light, we have to demonstrate commitment to it. That means sacrificing ego to the overwhelming
display of intelligence and good will to the realm of Light and eternal life.
