It will usually say on the package, but if it doesnt:
Women's razors are lighter colors like pink, men's are blue or black.
Women's razors have usually 3 blades, men's often have four or more.

Actually though, I find that men's razors work better--there are more blades, so when I shave my legs, they are smoother longer.
Although, Venus razors are good too...just a little bit of personal information...

Mens rasers tend to be smaller, not as wide as a woman's. They also have better blades, don't waste your money on the one that vibrates, waste of money and blood. I will only use a men's razor in the bikini area because it is easier to control, and that's a part I don't want a nick or worse a slip! Gillette Senor or Senor Excel are fantastic, close concise shave, rarely a nick. Just remember to change those blades even those they are so expensive.
That should be a question, why are they so expensive?

Sometimes womens razors are better - the intuition razor is great for moisturing and if your in a hurry - no nicks.

Womens razors aren't usually black or grey. If the razor is a springtime color aka light blue, pink then it's definitley a womens razor.

Women's razors are usually sold next to the little soaps that you can't use or the towels you can't use.

the color. the packaging will usually tell. but quite honestly, it doesn't matter. my husband uses my razors on his face all the time, and they are the same exact thing.

By their color. If it is blue or black then it is for men the rest of them are for women.
